Diana 4ER - Electric Propulsion System

Here is some more hot news of the brand new Diana 4ER from Avionic in Poland.

The glider has a fully retractable electric propulsion system and is capable of Self Launch!

The engine has a continuous power output of 23 kW, but can maximize at 44 kW for max 2 minutes to rapidly climb or avoid obstacles in the way of the sailplane.

The batteries are safely located in the wings and has a total capacity of 9,4 kWh which gives the Diana 4ER the possibility to climb to 2.700 meters and still have the power to maintain level flight for 150 kilometers.

Safe and will prevent unwanted landing outside your airfield!
